Tory had an incident and had to be re-evaluated. She has some fear aggression while in a crate. This is the first we have seen this with Tory. She seems fine out of crate and when going on walks or on leash she is the perfect lady. We will be looking for an experienced home that can handle a collie who is sometimes fearful. Tory came from a horrible past chained in a barn with 50 other dogs. She had never walked on grass or seen the sunlight. She needs a special home to show her the good life.

Tory is a beautiful 6 year old sable female collie. She is one of the WV hoarding dogs. When she came into rescue her fur was patchy in places due to allergies.
Her foster family has been treating her and she is feeling much better. Tory enjoys being brushed so it will be a bonus for her when her coat fully grows in.
This pretty girl likes to talk and will let you know when she needs attention with a concerned whine.
Tory is currently a bit thin and is on her way back to a healthy weight, she will happily take treats and likes yogurt mixed into her food. She is still learning new things about living in a house, loud noises send her running to the door and she is still learning that windows are not the same as doors.
Tory plays well with other dogs when there is no toy involved. But she can be possessive of toys so she will need to either be an only dog or for her owner to understand and be able to manage her toy guarding.
Tory likes to rest her head on your lap and be petted especially on her long nose and face. She walks well on a lead, although she does sometimes startle, so a confidant walking partner is best.
This affectionate collie girl has been spayed and is waiting for a patient owner to help her build her confidence so she can relax and enjoy a forever home.
Tory is being fostered in OH.
