Shaggy is an oversized tricolor sheltie that has been through some really tough times. But after being given lots of TLC he has bloomed into a wholesome boy. He is approximately five years of age, is good with cats and other dogs and he appears to be housebroken. He is a typical sheltie so he will need to have a fenced-in yard. Shaggy is a quiet soul that loves to be near his people. He is great in a crate, has a super appetite and doesn't seem to have that barky personality that can be common in a lot of shelties. Shaggy would be a great companion for someone that is home all day and doesn't mind having this fella keep you company. We aren't sure about small children so we would feel best about him going to a home with children that are age eight or older. Shaggy would also be a great dog for a retired person that would love to have a special friend.
