Meet Miles, a sable merle sheltie that came in with another very small collie named Mia.  Both of these dogs were dearly loved by their previous owners but they found they could no long do them justice due to some personal issues.

Miles is a handsome four year old sable merle sheltie. This lovely boy is an absolute doll baby.

He is
housebroken, loves other dogs and is cat friendly, and he walks very well on a leash. Miles is a medium-sized sheltie weighing in at about 15 pounds. He is a little underweight but his foster family is working on helping him to put on some much needed weight.

Miles caught on very quickly to the routine of his foster home and he has been a pleasure to foster. The special family who adopts this little bundle of joy
will not be disappointed. Miles is sure to bring so much love and joy to his future adopters.

Tri-State Collie Rescue takes additional precautions in adopting out the shelties in our
program by placing them in families familiar with the temperament of the sheltie breed. These dogs are wonderful companions but can scare easily. This means they can sometimes get away from even the most experienced handlers. We hope to find a wonderful family for Miles that will protect him and give him a loving forever home.

Miles is being fostered in KY.
