Frost is a sable headed white collie, a bit on the small side at 50 lbs, He was picked up as a stray in western Virginia, after what looks to be quite a while on his own. He is estimated to be between 7 and 8 yrs old.

Frost is a very sweet and gentle boy, and still somewhat nervous and timid after his time on the run. He loves the companionship of other dogs, enjoys meeting the cats, and very much likes to be near his humans.  He is very quickly settling into his foster household, and shows no aggressive tendencies at all.  He does not seem to have had much experience with the leash, or basic training, but is very well behaved.  Right now he is most comfortable staying in the house or yard with companions, and is a little timid about going for a walk, although he does behave well enough when taken for one. Frost seemed very hesitant to enter the house the first time, but now he hates to go out. Smart boy...he quickly learned to appreciate the comforts of a good home with soft beds, good food, and air conditioning.
