Dash was turned over by his owner who had to move to an apartment. He is only 11 months old and still has a lot of puppy in him.
Dash is house trained. He walks on leash. Dash knows sit and shake hands and down. He is working on his manners with other dogs. By that we mean he is a bit bouncy around other dogs and wants to play rough. When they correct him in doggy language his answer is to lick their face. His foster home’s other collies are trying to teach him to play nice. He is a large boy with a nice coat of hair. Dash enjoys being brushed. He requires a regularly fenced yard to play in to run off some energy (an invisible fence will not do).
Dash rides well in the car but sometimes forgets himself and tries to help the driver. He rides nicely in crate in car. Dash is a young dog with a long life ahead of him with someone who knows how continue to work with a young collie. He is quite a Clown at times. Strangers scare him at first but once they get down to his level and make up to him he will be their friend for life. If your interested in a big collie with a big heart send in your application for Dash!
Dash is being fostered in SE Michigan.
