Caesar was born in Nov of 2008. He was an outside dog until coming into our program. Caesar came into Tri State Collie Rescue the beginning of Oct 2017 with a broken front leg from being hit by a car. He also was heartworm positive and was found to have Ehrlichia as well.
Caesar has been through a lot with all of his treatments. He had to deal with cast changes until the leg healed. Confinement so he didn’t overdo while getting heartworm treatment and meds for the Ehrlichia. It has been a long road to get this sweet boy on the road to health.
Through it all he did not complain and was a good patient. Finally after all this time and care in his foster home he is ready for a home of his own.
Caesar still has a slight auto immune disease that some collies have and right now requires medication.
He is a good car rider but needs assistance getting in and out. Right now he uses a ramp. He does not mind being brushed and fussed over and walks well on a leash.
Caesar has a slight limp still from his repaired leg. He gets along well with cats and other dogs.
This poor guy has been through the ringer. Do you have time and space to spoil him as he deserves?
Caesar is being fostered in SW Ohio.
