Boston is a one year old sable and white collie that has a way of winning over everyone he meets. This beautiful boy had the misfortune of living in a home without a fenced in yard and his people did not leash him. Boston was hit by cars several times, and a pelvis fractured in several places was the result of the most recent collision.
TSCR took Boston in and made sure he had the best veterinarians putting him back together. The collision with the car was so severe that Boston's pelvis fracture severed his sciatic nerves and this left his right hind leg paralyzed. After his pelvis healed, Boston had to have that leg amputated. After all of this, you would think that Boston would probably be a little touchy, but he is not. He is just a big goofy puppy that just happens to have three legs. He can run and play and jump and love you just as well as he could if he still had four legs.
Boston is looking for his forever home now. He needs a fenced yard, and he told us he would love some children of his very own, or at least some grandkids that come and play often.
Boston gets along well with other dogs but he does not have to have a canine playmate as long as he has some human companions that will play with him.
Boston is learning basic obedience and is coming along nicely learning to sit, stay, and shake. He is perfectly house trained and would love to go for a walk with his new owner or go pick out some special collie toys at PetSmart.
