Ben is a wonderful sable and white collie who is approximately six or seven years old and is a big boy, weighing in at 90 pounds.
Even though Ben is blind, he gets around nearly as well as a sighted dog. He is easy going and doesn't know he has a disability, he's just a happy boy.
Ben gets along with other dogs and knows to warn them with a little growl if he thinks they might step on him. He would do best in a house with very few stairs, especially if he would have to have use them on a regular basis.
Ben is house broken and goes outside to potty on his own. His foster mom watches him and calls him back when he's done.
Ben's foster mom believes he needs a little more time to settle before he'll be ready to go for walks on a leash, he follows her voice when he's called.
Ben is a real prize and wins over everyone he meets. He would make a wonderful companion for someone willing to be patient and nurturing to this gentle boy.
